Mt Thirsty
Select Minerals Pty Ltd (Select) has an opportunity to enter the nickel sector through the Mt Thirsty project.
The Mt Thirsty cobalt/nickel laterite project is located 20km NNW of Norseman, adjacent to the Coolgardie to Esperance Highway and Kalgoorlie to Esperance railway and Gas Pipe line. The project area is currently held by Select Minerals (100%). However Select Minerals has entered into an Option Agreement with Barra Resources Limited.
The Option Agreement allows Barra to farm into the project by providing initial project funding to participate equally with Select Minerals in the "Initial Public Offering" in order to develop the project. The Option Agreement will be executed as soon as Barra have completed the expenditure commitment.
